Description
Dr. K.C. Fox is a powerhouse communicator, strategist, and advocate relentlessly dedicated to shaping narratives for women in leadership and business. As the visionary behind the 540-view educational company Black II Basics, K.C. is rewriting how young minds learn history, culture, and financial literacy with unapologetic pride and cultural accuracy.
A multi-hyphenate force, K.C. is a TEDx speaker and curator, a decorated USAF Combat Veteran, and a 27-year veteran of the American Broadcast Industry. Her expansive career spans entrepreneurship, media, and executive leadership, earning her the reputation of a real-life Olivia Pope with an unmatched ability to solve complex communications and crisis challenges.
At the helm of The Vault International Corporation, a premier media and crisis communication firm, she leads with precision, discretion, and purpose. Her clientele spans professional athletes (NFL, NBA), Civil Rights Attorneys, entertainers, CEOs, public figures, and politicians. Her firm has played a critical role in historic legal and social justice movements, including strategic crisis management in cases tied to R. Kelly, Botham Jean, Crystal Mason, and Glynn Simmons.
Prior to launching her own firm, K.C. held top-tier leadership positions within the nation’s largest television and media company, cementing her legacy as one of the few Black women to navigate and dominate in traditionally gatekept spaces.
Her accolades speak volumes. K.C. is a 2023 recipient of the Black Media Honors Political Icon Award and was presented the 2022 Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award by President Joe Biden. She’s been featured in Essence Magazine’s “Everyone Who Gave Us Life,” Black Enterprise’s “7 Women to Watch in 2023,” and Sheen Magazine’s “10 Women Making Noise in 2023.” She was also recognized by the Dallas Business Journal with the Minority Business Leader Award.
In every space she enters, K.C. Fox sets the standard and challenges the status quo—especially where Black women have been historically marginalized. Globally recognized as a civil rights and women’s rights thought leader, she brings both boldness and brilliance to every table.
K.C. serves as a trusted advisor to Jay-Z’s United Justice Coalition and sits on several national boards and coalitions. She is the founder of Millionaire Legacy Builders, the visionary behind The Lady General Foundation, and a founding member of Sisters of the Movement. Her past leadership includes serving as Vice President of the NAACP, overseeing critical civil rights, legal redress, communications, and health efforts. She’s also held national roles with the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, National Council of Negro Women, and the National Association of Black Journalists.
When the world paused during the COVID-19 pandemic, K.C. launched An All-Female Tech Co., a bold answer to the gaps she witnessed across industries she once helped shape. Her innovation continued in education as a franchise owner of The Learning Experience, a top-tier early education brand featured by Forbes.
Dr. K.C. Fox is more than a brand, she’s a movement, a builder of legacies. A woman who leads with power, purpose, and an unshakable commitment to impact over income.
